Telemundo Deportes Reveals 2021 Tokyo Olympics Coverage Plans


NBC Sports Group’s Spanish language television networks Telemundo and Universo have announced the coverage schedule of 2021 Tokyo Olympics starting Wednesday July 21.

Telemundo Deportes will present more than 300 hours of programming of 2021 Tokyo Olympics, the most in Spanish-language media and Telemundo network is the deliver more than 187 hours of live coverage while Universo will present 122 hours.

Universo kicks off the live coverage with the Women’s Soccer Competition Wednesday July 21 at 3 AM ET.

Telemundo and Universo have plans to deliver atleast 12 hours of live sports coverage throughout the night and early morning on all 17 days of coverage of Tokyo 2021 Olympics with Telemundo to deliver a two-hour recap show highlighting the best Olympic stories every weekday at 1 PM ET starting Monday, July 26 through Friday, August 6. The coverage includes sports competitions relevant to the Latino audience, including boxing, basketball, baseball, volleyball, beach volleyball.
