NBC Olympics has signed a deal with the #1 video news brand in social media NowThis.

NBC Olympics has taken a minority stake in NowThis, a mobile-first video news provider to deliver news content and videos of U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes in the lead up to the 2021 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.

NowThis will produce a variety of athlete-focused content for NBC Olympics that include video profiles, sit-down interviews and opinion pieces voiced by the athletes themselves

NowThis’ content and videos of 2021 Tokyo Olympics will be distributed across its extensive digital and social media outlets, which are enormously popular among young audiences.
